All wood and paints of this piece are original. A construction based on a panel of crusted, crackled tongue and groove wall boards (c.1850) with layers of old paint. A composition doll head (c.1930) is resting on a segment of a wooden pedestal and a small carved bird is perched atop a wooden curtain ring. This work uses age distressed familiar elements to create a world for the viewer to explore and enjoy.
